Independence Day

December 6 is Finland's independence day. A day to sit at home and watch the president's party on television. At least that is what I have been told. You also put a blue and white candle in your window. But there are no "6th of December" sales as all the stores are closed. So make sure that you stock up on food the day before. And no one says "Happy Independence day!" That's too American. But alias, I can't help my self...

Happy Finnish Independence day everyone!
